Leben is a craft brewery created by a portuary family with a strong connection to maritime culture. Looking to refresh its identity without losing its roots, the brewery entrusted the studio with developing a rebranding that could preserve its character while bringing a more contemporary and approachable tone.

The creative direction explored the port universe in a broad and expressive way, blending classic maritime imagery such as sailors, sirens, harbor symbols, and industrial references with the relaxed atmosphere of summer, beach culture, and shared moments around beer. The result is a visual identity that feels bold, playful, and full of personality while remaining deeply connected to the brewery’s origins.

The can collection was developed as a system of eight illustrated beer varieties, each one designed with its own personality while remaining part of a cohesive visual universe. Inspired by maritime folklore, port life, and the brewery’s playful spirit, every label introduces a unique character and narrative, transforming the beers into collectible pieces rather than simple packaging.

The branding system was designed to move naturally across every point of contact with the brewery, from the can designs and distribution packaging to uniforms, printed pieces, merchandise, and the beer truck itself.
Each application was developed to maintain a strong and recognizable identity while adapting to different formats, scales, and contexts of use. 

For the merchandise applications, a series of posters were produced using traditional screen printing techniques, reinforcing the brewery’s handcrafted spirit through the production process itself. The choice of serigraphy was intentional, embracing the imperfections, textures, and tactile quality of manual printing as an extension of Leben’s craft philosophy.
